How To Play Guitar With Your Teeth

If you want to play guitar with your teeth, you have probably been inspired by watching old videos of Jimi Hendrix.

It looks cool and is fairly easy to do. The trouble is that when you first try it, your teeth will most likely hurt. So, begin by bringing the guitar up to your mouth and using your bottom teeth to connect with the guitar string. Play the guitar by moving your lower jaw while keeping the guitar steady.

Another way of playing guitar with your teeth is to simply hold your plectrum in your mouth and get the knack of picking that way without the plectrum flying into the audience. You will probably find it easier at first to move the guitar on the plectrum rather than moving your head to pick the strings.

Playing guitar with your teeth should only be attempted in short bursts and on simple guitar passages. Fancy chord changes won’t work without the risk of dropping the guitar. Good luck.
