Hank Marvin is one of the original guitar heroes. He helped to popularize the Stratocaster and the electric guitar in general, back in the nineteen sixties and seventies, and is still an active and innovative professional guitarist.

Hank Marvin made good use of echo and vibrato to achieve a highly individual sound that many guitarists have tried to emulate. One way of copying the Hank Marvin sound is by using the Gemini III, a true-bypass analogue tone-shaper with digital switching that enables today’s guitarists to get the thin sound produced in the Abbey Road studios in the sixties.
